No NFL team saw the perception of themselves change after one week more than the Philadelphia Eagles. One victory saw Philly go from a projected last place team to one of the favorites in the NFC East.

First-year head coach Chip Kelly led the Eagles to a 33-27 victory over the defending division champion Washington Redskins. After the win, the team’s Super Bowl odds went from 50-1 to 28-1, according to Bovada.

Kelly brought his fast-paced offensive style that gave him so much success at Oregon over to the professional level. Through one game, at least, it seems to have translated just fine. The Eagles scored quickly, taking a 33-7 lead in the early part of the third quarter. Michael Vick, who’s looking to raise his performances after being benched in 2012, registered a 112.6 passer rating. He totaled three touchdowns and 54 rushing yards.

The Eagles surprise win is reflected in the Week 2 betting line. They are one of the biggest favorites on Sunday, as they are set to host the San Diego Chargers. Philadelphia is giving the visiting team seven points. According to RJ Bell pregame.com, the point spread had the Eagles favored by less than a field goal, before Week 1.

Unlike the Eagles, the Chargers didn’t surprise in their opener. They blew a three-touchdown lead in the second half, eventually falling to the Houston Texans 31-28.

Each team has had just six days in between games after participating in the Monday Night Football doubleheader. With almost a week to prepare though, San Diego might have a better chance to be competitive than Washington did. The Redskins had trouble when they first saw the Eagles offense, but seemed to make the proper adjustments in the second half. Philadelphia scored a touchdown with less than two minutes gone by in the third quarter, but didn’t score after that LeSean McCoy touchdown run.

The contest will air on CBS at 1 p.m. ET. Fans can watch a live stream online if they have a subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket Max.

Prediction: The Chargers showed last week that they have the talent to hang with the best teams in the NFL. Philadelphia look like a top competitor in the NFC, but it was just one game. San Diego should be able to keep it close, and possibly steal a victory in Philly, where the Eagles have had trouble winning of late.

Final Predicted Score: San Diego 30, Philadelphia 27
