A fire in San Bernardino, California, jumped over a freeway Friday evening, setting fire to several vehicles there, including a semi-truck. In photos and aerial video coverage provided by CNN, the road seemed to be filled with parked cars, some of which were engulfed in flames.

A San Bernardino National Forest Twitter account indicated that the fire had spread over 2,000 acres and was widening rapidly. According to news reports, a local fire department said several motorists had burn injuries and some may be trapped inside their vehicles.

One Twitter user posted photos of the fire, and of people he was rescuing from the roadway.
