[Photos] Katharine Hepburn's Beautiful Former Home for Sale

Hollywood icon Katharine Hepburn's former estate is now up for sale for $28 million dollars. The 8,300-square-foot house is on one of three lots, and can also be purchased separately for $18 million.

The house was in the Hepburn family since 1913, and the star lived in the home until her death in 2003.

The property sold for just $6 million dollars seven years ago, and has since been upgraded with more open spaces by current owners Barbara and Frank Sciame of F.J Sciame Construction.

The house was originally bought to be renovated and resold, but the family ended up loving it and spending more time before finally deciding to put it on the market.
