For the fourth consecutive year, Piaget teamed up with Film Independent to pay tribute to individuals responsible for making some of today's most important films.

The Swiss jeweler and watchmaker also helped many of the afternoon's honorees shine a little brighter by dressing them in its latest creations.

Best Actress nominee, Annette Bening, looked every bit the leading lady in Piaget's rose motif gold and diamond earrings, while Darren Aronofsky was a winner for Best Director in Piaget's Altiplano Skeleton watch.

Dale Dickey, who took home the Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress, dazzled in a suite of Piaget rose gold honey motif jewels. Also wearing Piaget on the red carpet were Best Supporting Actress nominee, Ashley Bell, Best Actress nominee, Greta Gerwig, Producer nominee, Gary Gilbert, Best Supporting Actor nominee, John Ortiz and presenters Jamie Fox, Zoe Saldana, Terrence Howard, Kerry Washington and Sandra Oh. Joel McHale, the show's host, wore the Piaget Polo FortyFive chronograph.

A second attraction during the event was the Piaget backstage VIP lounge with its lavish Garden Party theme. Here, Jeremy Renner, Eva Mendes, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Mackie, Rosario Dawson, Jesse Eisenberg, Diego Luna, John Hawkes, Lucy Punch and more joined Piaget CEO, Philippe Metzger for a celebratory glass of champagne and a sneak peak at the company's newest high jewelry collection.
