It's highly unlikely Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia make nice Sunday in the final round of the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

Known to have a rocky, non-relationship over the years, Garcia ripped into Woods for eliciting a distracting roar from the crowd while the Spaniard was shooting on the par-5 second hole during Saturday’s third round.

“I wouldn’t say that he didn’t see that I was ready,” Garcia said. “But you do have a feel when the other guy is going to hit, and right as I was in the top of my backswing, I think he must have pulled like a 5-wood or a 3-wood and obviously everybody started screaming.

“So that didn’t help very much. But it was unfortunate because — I mean I might have hit it in there if nothing happens. You never know. But if I hit a good shot there and maybe make a birdie, it gets my day started in a bit of a different way.”

Woods later responded: "The marshals, they told me he already hit, so I pulled a club and was getting ready to play my shot," Woods said to the Associated Press. "And then I hear his comments afterwards, and not real surprising that he's complaining about something."

All feuds aside, Woods, Garcia and Sweden’s David Lingmerth are locked in first with an 11-under 205.

Garcia won’t have to worry about crowd distractions, as he’s paired with Lingmerth at 2:38 p.m. Eastern, while Woods and fellow American Casey Wittenberg tee-off at 2:28 p.m.

Wittenberg, along with Henrik Stenson and Ryan Palmer are knotted at fourth place with a 10-under 206.

Rory McIlroy continued his slide down the leaderboard with a one-over par 73 in the third round, with three bogeys and two birdies. McIlroy now rests in an eight-way tie for 18th at 5-under par for the tournament, and will tee-off at 12:38 p.m. with American Daniel Summerhays.
