“Pretty Little Liars” alum Troian Bellisario just landed a role in “Where’d You Go, Bernadette,” just weeks after the hit Freeform TV series wrapped up.

According to Variety, Bellisario will join Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig and Billy Crudup in Richard Linklater’s upcoming comedy-drama. “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” is based on Maria Semple’s novel about a woman of the same name. Bernadette is a former architect who goes missing right before her family goes on vacation.

Bellisario will play the role of Becky, the first person Bernadette will encounter when she goes through a journey in Antarctica. Crudup will play the role of Elgie, while Wiig will give life to the character of Audrey. Judy Greer will take on Dr. Kurtz. The latter’s casting was announced last month by Deadline.

On her Instagram account, Bellisario shared a photo of her “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” script to announce her involvement in the project. She captioned the snap by saying that she’s honored to be part of Linklater’s upcoming film, as well as to work with her co-stars.

“Where’d You Go, Bernadette” is written by Linklater, Holly Gent Palmo and Vince Palmo. Megan Ellison of Annapurna Pictures is producing the film alongside Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson of Color Force Productions.

Meanwhile, Bellisario starred in “Pretty Little Liars” as Spencer Hastings for seven seasons. The final episode for the series aired on June 27. After graduating from Warner Bros.’ directors program in June 2016, Bellisario went on to direct Season 7, episode 5 of “Pretty Little Liars.”

Prior to the series finale, Bellisario also wrote, produced and starred in the film, “Feed,” alongside “The Flash” star Tom Felton. “Feed” will be released by Sony Pictures on various digital platforms on July 18.

Linklater, on the other hand, has directed a total of 20 films throughout the span of his career. He was involved in “Everybody Wants Some!!” and “Last Flag Flying.” The latter stars “Breaking Bad” alum Bryan Cranston and will be released by Amazon Studios in the coming weeks. Linklater also received an Oscar nomination for “Boyhood” in 2015.
