Is Noel Kahn really Uber A? That’s what one of the girls will try to prove in episode 9 of “Pretty Little Liars.”
Things got intense last week on the Freeform series when Mrs. Grunwald (Meg Foster) arrived in Rosewood to give Hanna (Ashley Benson) a grave warning about her and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn). The psychic from Ravenswood revealed that darkness is close to the two of them, and that she’s worried about their safety. Hanna’s been convinced for a few weeks now that Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) is their mysterious stalker, however, her friends haven’t been ready to point fingers at their old high school classmate. For Hanna, the evidence is piling up — and she’s willing to go to great lengths to prove it.
Episode 9, titled “The Wrath of Kahn,” will find Hanna going rogue to trap Noel. How exactly will she do that? The details aren’t clear, but episode 8 found her placing a phone call to an unidentified person before heading to New York. She set up shop in a dark room, using duct tape to cover the windows with newspaper.
Despite not telling Caleb or any of her friends what exactly she has up her sleeves, everyone will begin to “worry about her emotional state.” They’ll somehow figure out what she’s up to because they’ll begin their own search to “find evidence to back her theory.”
Hanna’s quest to get Noel won’t be the only drama unfolding in episode 9. Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) will grow closer, which will complicate her relationship with Sabrina. Elsewhere, Aria (Lucy Hale) and Jason (Drew Van Acker) will work together to find more information on Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) while Ezra (Ian Harding) is in Colombia waiting for news on Nicole (Rebecca Breeds). Does Alison (Sasha Pieterse) know that Aria is with her brother? And will “Pretty Little Liars” fans find out what happened between Aria and Jason in the five-year time jump?
“Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, episode 9 will air on Freeform on Tuesday, August 23 at 8 p.m. EDT.
