Trick or treat! “Pretty Little Liars” fans may have bid adieu to season 4 part A, but they don’t have to wait until 2014 for more “A” drama. ABC Family has released the episode synopsis for the Oct. 22 Halloween special, “Grave New World.”

What can fans of the series expect after the big “A” and “Red Coat” reveal in the summer finale? A party!

In episode 12, “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t,” the girls uncovered “A’s” lair and with it some clues that lead them to believe Alison is alive … and in Ravenswood. “Grave New World” will find them crashing the Ravenswood Founders Day Celebration in search of Alison … even after receiving a warning of danger from Mrs. Grunwald.

The episode description posted on Spoiler TV reveals that Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily will be dressed in “their finest Edwardian wear” as they attend a cemetery party to “find Ali before ‘A’ can.” But is Alison really alive? And if so, are they doing what Mrs. Grunwald warned about, leading “A” to their friend? “With Ezra lurking in the shadows, ‘A’ may be closer than the girls realize,” teases the synopsis.

And that’s not all! Ezra’s Ian Harding dished to E! Online that the special Halloween episode is truly frightening! “There are some parts that are actually legitimately scary, like really scary,” he explained. “So we’re going to get the thrills and the fashion and it’s going to blow people’s minds. And we’re introducing new characters and all that so it’ll be fun.”

One of those new characters is Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson), “a kindred soul” that Caleb will meet. Caleb will find himself sticking around Ravenswood after Hanna and the others leave in order to help Miranda. But he’ll soon regret his decision when he meets some unwelcoming characters – Miranda’s uncle Raymond (Steven Cabral) and Luke (Brett Dier), a local resident.

Watch the “Pretty Little Liars” Halloween episode at 8 p.m. on ABC Family on Oct. 22. Tune in at 9 p.m. for a second hour of drama with the “strange and supernatural” spinoff series, “Ravenswood.”
