Princess Madeleine of Sweden’s son Prince Nicolas had a sweet meeting with Santa Claus. The princess took to her official Facebook page and shared the picture of her baby son Tuesday. Madeleine, who shifted with her husband and family to London in September, is currently in her home town.

The picture shows baby Nicolas sitting on the lap of Father Christmas. The tot gazed at the camera as both he and Santa sit on what appears to be a red and white sledge. A portion of a Christmas tree is also seen in the background.

Nicolas, who is six months old, is dressed in beige trousers, a collared shirt and a black woollen jumper. He is also pictured wearing beige ankle-length boots. The doting mom shared her baby’s milestone on Facebook, posting his picture on Facebook.

“Nicolas is wishing everyone Happy Holidays!” the 33-year-old Swedish royal captioned the photo. She credited the photograph to be taken by Boggio Studios. This is the first time little Nicolas met Santa.

Madeleine and her husband Chris O’Neill welcomed their son in June, just a couple of days after the wedding of her brother Prince Carl Philip to his fiancé in June. The couple are also parents to a daughter, Princess Leonore, who will turn two in February.

This is the second time royal fans have got a glimpse of the little prince. The first time royal watchers and fans saw the prince during his christening on Oct. 11. Madeleine and her family flew back to Sweden for the special event, which took place at Drottningholm Palace Chapel with members of the Swedish royal family in attendance.

After the service, the parents of Nicolas took him outside to greet well-wishers who had braved the sunny weather and were waiting to catch a glimpse of the child. The tot’s uncle was named as one of the godfather’s of the child during the ceremony. Fans of the little royal are delighted by the new picture, which shows how much he has grown in recent months.

The Royal Palace of Sweden also released an official portrait of the family after baby Nicolas’ christening. His parents also thanked all royal fans and well-wishers for love and support.
