Correction, Tuesday, 12:06 a.m. EST: A previous version of this story reported that Prince William and Princess Kate would become stock traders for a charity event. The story has been corrected to state that the royal couple will act as stock brokers. The story also described ICAP as a commodities trading firm and that has been corrected to call it a financial services firm.

Prince William and Princess Kate are set to become stock brokers for a day for a fundraising event to benefit charitable organizations.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be attending ICAP’s charity day on Dec. 9, People magazine reported. The London-based financial services firm’s annual charity event will have the royal couple manning phones on the trading floor as they close deals with clients. The event will be held at ICAP's office located in London’s business district. The event will also take place in more than 60 ICAP offices around the world, where traders donate commissions and a day's revenue to selected charitable organizations.

In this year’s ICAP annual charity affair, three of Prince William and Princess Kate’s charitable organizations will benefit from the event. These organizations are Sportsaid, Place2be and Skillforce, of which Prince William is a patron.

This would be the first time that the Duchess of Cambridge will be participating in ICAP’s annual charity event. Previous ICAP fundraising activities where attended by Prince Charles, Prince Harry and Prince William, People reported.

According to Hello! magazine, Prince William even managed to close a 14 billion pounds deal between two banks during ICAP’s 2010 charity event. This would be around $21 billion with today’s currency rate exchange.

For this year’s visit, the royal parents of Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be toured around the ICAP London office. They are also set to meet the brokers, along with representatives from their chosen charities.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Kate has been busy attending to various royal functions and charitable events in the past few weeks. The latest was the royal couple’s visit to Wales where they attended several engagements to spread mental health awareness. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also showed off their competitive side in Wales as they each rappelled down a 40 feet high wall.

Princess Kate even jokingly asked her husband Prince William “how much do you love me?” during the activity.
