Though film fans are anxiously awaiting the release of the Alien prequel Prometheus, few are associating the film with Michael Fassbender's penis. The actor stripped down for his role as a sex addict in last year's Shame but will not being dropping trou for the sci fi flick. Yet at the Human Rights Equity Campaign Gala, Fassbender presented the star with the Ally for Equity Award which prompted his co-star Charlize Theron to praise his immense...talent. In her hilarious acceptance speech she told Fassbender:
I have to say that I was truly impressed that you chose to play it big. Most other actors would have gone small, trust me. No, I know because I've worked with them. Your penis was a revelation. I'm available to work with it any time.
Yet according to E! , Theron also acknowledged her humanitarian work and assured the crowd that she would not stop fighting for equal rights. She revealed:
Marriage equality is about more than just marriage. It's about something greater. It's about acceptance...I will always be your cheerleader and I will always be your friend.
At 36, the South African beauty has just adopted four-month-old son who was born in the United States. Theron's status as a single working mom is inspiring to many women. In fact, many have reached out to her with support:
She told People:
Everyone's just been so lovely - it's been really nice.
Prometheus isn't the only high-profile film Theron can be seen in this year. On June 1st audiences can catch her as the evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman, opposite Kristen Stewart.
