Lindsey Graham could have gotten angry this week when fellow 2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gave out his private cell phone number during a public campaign rally in Graham's home state of South Carolina. Instead, the Republican U.S. Senator decided to calmly demonstrate all the ways an embattled politician can destroy a cell phone once it has outlived its usefulness.

Graham took a break on Wednesday from his ongoing feud with Trump and put together a video of his favorite phone-destruction techniques for the Independent Journal Review. In the video, Graham used a meat cleaver, a blender, a golf club, lighter fluid -- even a wooden samurai sword -- to dismantle his now-useless device. No word on whether or not he will actually uses a flip phone in 2015.

The video provided a moment of levity in what has been a heated war of words between Graham and Trump. It all started on Monday, when Graham ripped Trump after the real estate mogul suggested Arizona Sen. John McCain wasn't a true hero because he was captured during the Vietnam War. In response, Graham called Trump a "jackass" and said he "shouldn't be commander in chief," Politico reported.

Trump fired back Tuesday at the campaign rally in the city of Bluffton by first calling Graham an "idiot" before publicly releasing the senator's cell phone number and telling hundreds of rally attendees to call him, CNN reported. Asked on Wednesday if he regretted his actions, Trump doubled down, telling Fox News that he gave out Graham's number "for fun."

It's safe to say that Graham has received more than his share of prank calls since Tuesday, but his participation in the IJ Review's video made it clear he hasn't lost his sense of humor. McCain certainly seemed to approve of the clip.
