Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra didn’t let her concussion stop her from having fun at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards.

After beating Ellen Pompeo, Taraji P. Henson, Kerry Washington and Viola Davis for favorite dramatic TV actress, Chopra let loose and did a little dance onstage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Wednesday night, but was quick to blame it on her concussion.

“I’m just really psyched, can I do a little wiggle?” Chopra joked. “I’m sorry, it’s the concussion talking.”

The actress suffered the concussion on the set of “Quantico” last week, but she wasn’t going to miss out on the award show. According to Chopra, she wasn’t allowed to use her computer or phone while resting at home but thought going to the award ceremony would be fine.

“As long as I don’t do any action and stuff, I’m supposed to be fine,” she told USA Today on the red carpet at the CBS event. “I’m keeping my neck a little straight, I’m Mr. Robot today.”

While Chopra can laugh about it now, she said the experience scared her. “It was actually scary. I’ve never got hurt before on set while I do stunts, I always do them myself. This was just a one-off.”

So how exactly did she hurt herself? Chopra revealed she slipped on the floor. “I was supposed to be saving someone, as usual. And I was wearing rubber boots, it was raining and there was plastic on the floor, and I flipped on that. Can you imagine, after all the action I do, that’s how I get a concussion?”

The 2017 People’s Choice Awards airs live on CBS at 9 p.m. EST. Check out the full list of nominees HERE and find out how to tune in online and on TV HERE.
