Queen Elizabeth has been the subjected of a handful of books throughout the past couple of decades. But she has not given her blessing and approval to all of the writers.

But Her Majesty gave one of her trusted royal staff the go-signal to publish a book that will detail her time working for the monarch. The Queen’s dresser, Angela Kelly, has been with Her Majesty for years.

Kelly also serves as the royal’s personal advisor, curator, and she has been instrumental in some of the Queen’s most famous looks. Her book, “The Other Side of the Coin,” will be published by Harper Collins, and it will be available started Sept. 29.

According to the Queen’s former private secretary, Samantha Cohen, Kelly’s book will also give a rare glimpse into the demands of the dresser’s job in support of Her Majesty.

“This book documents the unique working relationship between Her Majesty The Queen and the woman who has been her Personal Advisor and Senior Dresser for more than two decades: Angela Kelly. It gives a rare glimpse into the demands of the job of supporting the Monarch, and we gain a privileged insight into a successful working relationship, characterized by humor, creativity, hard work, and a mutual commitment to service and duty… Angela is a talented and inspiring woman, who has captured the highlights of her long career with The Queen for us all to share,”

In the past, Kelly has also made headlines while talking about the Queen’s fashion. Daily Mail also said that the Queen and Kelly are so close that the monarch frequently visits the dresser at her home, which she gave to her as a gift.

Sources also claimed that whenever the Queen and Kelly are alone, household staff could always hear them laughing. And after the death of the Queen’s mom and sister, she reportedly looked for someone to fill that void and turned to Kelly.
