Macho Man Randy Savage has been killed in a car accident in Florida.

The wrestling legend, 58, lost control while driving his Jeep Wrangler and drove across a concrete median through oncoming traffic, crashing head-on into a tree.

Savage's wife Barbara L. Poffo, who was sitting in the passenger's side, was injured and hospitalized.

An autopsy is expected to confirm any suspicions of a medical event which may have caused the accident.

Macho Man is widely known for his catchphrases Oooooooh Yeahhh! and Can you dig it? along with his popular Slim Jim commercials.

I'm completely devastated, Hogan, 57, tweeted after learning of his death.

After over 10 years of not talking with Randy, we've finally started to talk and communicate.

We miss him a lot. I feel horrible about the ten years of having no communication. This was a tough one.

He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit.

I just pray that he's happy and in a better place and we miss him.
