Sotheby's Auction House will be auctioning off a set of important jewels from major jewelers by the end of this month. The auction to be held in New York on September 28 will feature pieces from Harry Winston, Cartier, David Webb and Tiffany & Co.

The jewels from a private collection feature some unique pieces including a platinum and diamond pendant necklace worth an estimated $1 million to $1.5 million. The piece created by designer Harry Winston holds a pear shaped 10.02-carat diamond as the centerpiece hung in rows of pear-shaped and round diamonds. Then there is the yellow diamond ring, featuring a yellow diamond weighing 17.97 carats surrounded by white trapeze-cut diamonds which is being estimated at $400,000. Besides the pieces from the private collector, there are some rare Harry Winston pieces featuring a platinum and diamond necklace with 50 carats of round and baguette diamonds, a fluid platinum and diamond bracelet held together with a diamond clasp, and a very versatile pair of platinum and diamond ear-clips which are created to include floral cluster tops with suspended diamond fringe pendants. The auction will also have a selection of diamond rings by David Webb and Cartier to bid on.
