Razer Sale
Razer is throwing a sale Thursday. Gaming and PC accessories are 50 percent off for 24 hours. Razer

Chances are you didn't win the $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot, but you can still get a pretty big discount on gaming accessories from Razer. The PC and gaming company are offering 50 percent off most of its wares, but there are a few limitations regarding the sale.

Razer is calling Thursday's sale their "CES 2016 Fan Appreciation Event.' All PC and gaming accessories and peripherals are 50 percent off beginning at 9 p.m. EST (6 p.m. EST). The deal excludes systems such as the recently unveiled Razer Blade Stealth, the Razer Blade Pro or the Razor Forge TV. Game mice such as the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition ($89.99) and the Razer Orochi ($69.99) — each voted as among the best gaming mice by Polygon — are on sale. The Razer BlackWidow Chroma, the Razer Anasi and Razer DeathSatalker Ultimate are among the keyboards on sale. Razer headphones and gaming headsets, microphones, mousemats and gaming controllers for the PC and Xbox One are also part of Thursday's sale. Game accessories such as audio adapters, new ear cushions or cord controllers are also discounted.

Razer fans will want to be prepared ahead of the sale. "To ensure as many fans get in on the sale, each will only be allowed one item – so you may wish to plan ahead as the codes will not work until the time of the sale. Stocks are finite and are expected to go fast," a Razer community manager said on the Razer Insider forum announcing the sale.

Aside from the lack of gaming systems and item limits, the only other caveat regarding the sale is the mandatory Razor Insider membership. Luckily, it's free and it's easy to sign up to the company's community forums. Users must first get a Razer ID and associate your profile with an external account. Razer has a quick tutorial explaining the process.
