The new season of Bravo's hit series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is dangerously close to returning. The show's longtime cast member NeNe Leakes announced in June that she would not be returning for Season 8. It seems, however, that she's had a change of heart.

According to E! Online, NeNe, 47, will make a surprise appearance on the show during the cast's trip to Jamaica. Bravo's crew is said to be filming the trip currently and the "RHOA" ladies reportedly have no clue NeNe plans to pop up on them. Source say she's back for a "surprise attack" though it is not known whom she will be coming for. E! reports that NeNe's surprise appearance in Jamaica won't be the only time viewers see her during "RHOA" Season 8. She is said to be appearing many times, though the exact number is not known.

NeNe announced her departure from the show during summer 2015, releasing a statement via People magazine. She told fans it was "a hard decision," but said she felt it was her time to focus on other projects. NeNe shared the statement on Twitter, telling followers she was crying as she typed. The former "RHOA" star's tears were short-lived, however. Days after her shocking announcement it was revealed that she would be starring alongside Betty White in the ABC reboot of the game show "To Tell the Truth." She and White, 93, will be joined by a third panelist who will spend each week trying to tell whether or not contestants on the show are lying or being honest.

Leakes has not yet addressed her rumored return to "RHOA." The show is slated to return to Bravo on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. EST.
