Just months after returning to Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City" Bethenny Frankel is slated to appear on yet another popular "Housewives" franchise. The Skinny Girl Cocktails CEO appeared in Season 7 of "RHONY" after a lengthy hiatus. Now, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" have recruited her for Season 6.
According to E! Online, Bethenny, 44, will make a guest appearance on the show. Sources told the publication the episode in which she is featured was filmed over the summer. It shows the current "RHOBH" cast visiting the Hamptons, a popular vacation destination in New York, where Bethenny has a home. The source added that she and Kyle Richards, longtime "RHOBH" cast member, are close friends, so it's only fitting that they would run into one another during the trip. Many details surrounding the Hamptons trip remain under wraps, but it has been said that Bethenny was her usual, straight-shooting self.
"Bethenny filmed a cameo this summer, when several 'RHOBH' cast members were in the Hamptons. Bethenny has a home there. She and Kyle Richards are old friends so it made sense for them to see each other," the source said.
While Bethenny's cameo on "RHOBH" is going to be major, a second source told E! there is much bigger drama in store for the cast trip. According to reports, the mini-vacation was filmed around the same time Kim Richards, who has since been fired from the show, was arrested for shoplifting at a San Fernando Valley, California, Target. Kyle, 46, will be shown trying to cope with her sister's second arrest in a span of just four months. At the time of her arrest, Kim claimed she could not recall whether or not she had paid for the $600 worth of merchandise in her carts. She was taken to a local police station and held overnight.
Bravo has not announced when Season 6 of "RHOBH" will premiere.
