Bravo has finally released a sneak peek at Season 8 of "The Real Housewives of New York City." The trailer is missing two notable stars — Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman — but promises no shortage of action from the remaining Big Apple ladies.

Returning to the series are Bethenny Frankel, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan. "RHONY" will also be introducing a new cast member, according to People magazine. Julianne "Jules" Wainstein has been added to the roster and she's bringing plenty of drama with her. The trailer teases her early appearances on the show and it seems that not everyone — namely Carole — will be welcoming her with open arms.

There will also be some new rifts among the old stars of the show. Longtime besties Ramona and Sonja will be forced to confront some uncomfortable issues like Sonja's drinking. During one particular scene Ramona, 59, suggests that her gal pal has been drinking a little too much. It seems Bethenny, who rejoined the cast in Season 7, will also be facing discomfort as she encounters problems with her health. She can be heard discussing a "living will." Meanwhile, LuAnn, also known as the countess, will spend the season celebrating her newfound love — and showing off her new massive rock.

LuAnn, 50, made an appearance on ABC's "The FABLife" where she gushed about new boyfriend Thomas D'Agostino Jr. She told the show's hosts — which include Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee, Lauren Makk and Leah Ashley — he was her "soul mate." According to E! Online, LuAnn went on to share that they met during a period when she was certain finding love would never happen again for her. Still, she never fully gave up on her quest to find her other half and eventually the stars aligned and D'Agostino came into her life. At the time LuAnn said her beau was hunting high and low for the perfect ring.

The "RHONY" cast was shaken to it's core in July 2015 when Heather announced her departure. Us Weekly reported that she no longer felt the show was "a good fit." The publication claimed that she was worried about her image as both an individual and a business owner and thought continuing on "RHONY" would be damaging. Heather reportedly only agreed to be on Season 7 to promote Yummie Tummie and spend time with close friend Carole, and instead found herself at the center of a lot of drama and "ridiculous fights." After learning that episodes of the show had been edited to show the bickering rather than her working with Yummie Tummie, sources said Heather made "the choice to walk away."

Months later in October 2015 Kristen followed suit. She made the announcement in a statement released via E! News. Kristen told the publication she had a "fantastic" time as a member of the "RHONY" cast, but decided it was time to shift her focus to family and her new cosmetics business, Pop of Color nail polish.

"RHONY" premieres Wednesday, April 6 at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
