The most recent season of “Real Housewives of New York City” may be over, but the war between Bethenny Frankel and LuAnn de Lesseps wages on.

The Skinnygirl Cocktails CEO appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Wednesday where she discussed the on-going feud between her and her co-star. The episode aired immediately after part two of the Season 8 reunion special, which further fanned the flames.

Bethenny, 45, laid into LuAnn — or “Lie-ann,” as she dubbed her during the special. She told host Andy Cohen the soon-to-be ex-countess’ behavior was “despicable,” adding that she believed it was LuAnn’s plan all along to take the heat of herself and her fast-moving new relationship by taking aim at the other women. Additionally, the mother of one claimed there was little to no truth to any of LuAnn’s claims during the “RHONY” reunion.

Bethenny went on to share with Andy that the weight of the situation with LuAnn, 51, left her physically ill, adding that she came down with strep throat and “was really crazy.” She said that at one point, in an attempt to cut to the chase, she planned to look to Andy to set things straight.

“I was going to shut it, I was going to ask you for a lie detector test at that point,” she said (via People magazine). “I mean, I was really — it was bad.”

During part one of the “RHONY” reunion, which aired Aug. 31, LuAnn hurled lofty allegations at Bethenny about her current relationship. She claimed that the female mogul, who is currently dating Dennis Shields, got into her new relationship while her suitor was still married. LuAnn claimed that Dennis has only recently separated from his wife at the time and was still living in their marital home. Bethenny placed a call to her beau’s daughter on camera to quickly dispell the rumors. Additionally, LuAnn alleged that Bethenny was still in the process of divorcing husband Jason Hoppy.

The “RHONY” Season 8 drama may have pushed Bethenny to the edge. In an Aug. 17 interview she told Entertainment Tonight that fans of the popular reality show may have seen the last of her. After filming wrapped she made a conscious decision to distance herself from the show and its stars, telling ET, “it was a long year.” The situation has left her hesitant about her future on “RHONY.”

“I’m glad the audience is enjoying it, but I’ve left it behind,” she said.

Questions about her character aren’t the only aspects of filming Bethenny is uncertain of. Forced to grapple with the fallout of a nasty divorce on camera, she made the decision not to involve daughter Bryn in the show. She explained to ET at the time that “RHONY” is definitely “work” and not something children should be subjected to.

“I do feel like it is — it’s work. It takes away from running my business and it’s definitely a job. There are press responsibilities, there are Twitter and press arguments that you would never otherwise be involved in. And it’s, you know, it’s a rose that has petals and thorns,” she said in a June interview. “So, I don’t think it’s really a place for a child — I don’t. I mean, when my daughter was a baby, she didn’t really know what was even going on. But what? You put a microphone on a 6-year-old?”

Part three of the “RHONY” reunion airs Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
