Don’t expect to see Bethenny Frankel’s daughter Bryn on “Real Housewives of New York City” any time soon.

Bethenny opened up about her daughter’s role on “RHONY,” admitting in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she’s more than fine with excluding Bryn from the Bravo show. The Skinny Girl CEO is “over” dragging people who aren’t on the Bravo series’ cast onto the show — and the 6-year-old is no exception. While a male suitor of the single mother of one’s did appear in an early Season 8 episode, Bethenny says she doesn’t plan to have anyone else appear on “RHONY.”

“I do feel like it is — it’s work. It takes away from running my business and it’s definitely a job. There are press responsibilities, there are Twitter and press arguments that you would never otherwise be involved in. And it’s, you know, it’s a rose that has petals and thorns,” she explained. “So, I don’t think it’s really place for a child — I don’t. I mean, when my daughter was a baby, she didn’t really know what was even going on. But what? You put a microphone on a 6-year-old?”

While Bethenny has chosen not to allow Bravo to capture moments between her and her daughter, she did bring them along as she battled with her health. During Season 8, episode 8 the momtrepreneur revealed to her co-stars that she had been experiencing heavy bleeding and wasn’t feeling like herself. This struggle continued for days before she visited a doctor and learned that the only solution to her problem would be surgery. As People magazine reported, Bethenny agreed to go under the knife, but worried about leaving her daughter.

In addition to her health problems, “RHONY” cameras were present during some tense moments involving Bethenny and Sonja Morgan, who has spent much of Season 8 having her drinking habits questioned. Early in the season the two businesswomen faced off over Sonja’s latest venture — Tipsy Girl. Bethenny expressed her feeling that the name is oddly similar to her brand, Skinny Girl, adding that she no longer wanted to be associated with Sonja. This hurt the creator of the infamous Sonja toaster oven, who claimed she modeled her alcohol brand after Bethenny’s because she looks up to her. The drama has continued to carry throughout the season, though Sonja is doing her best to get back in Bethenny’s good graces.

“RHONY” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
