"Real Housewives of Orange County" veterans Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge attempted to make amends during Season 10 episode 2 of the hit series, but can they salvage their friendship? It looks like Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge may be whooping it up in Season 10 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" after all. As long as Tamra can avoid bad mouthing Brooks Ayers, that is. The pair made a valiant effort to mend their broken friendship in Monday night's episode, but is it too late for these frenemies?

During Season 10, episode 2 Vicki reached out to Tamra while vacationing in Mexico with her man. In her confessional interview she revealed that her little trip South of the border brought back fond memories of a trip she, Tamra and a few of the other "Housewives" took in Season 8 ahead of the Cut Fitness CEO's wedding. During their brief call Vicki extended an invitation to both Tamra and her hubby, Eddie Judge, to a fiesta at her home. Although Tamra was caught off guard, she graciously accepted. She and Eddie attended and things went great -- she and Vicki spent the night laughing, holding hands and knocking back tequila shots. It wasn't until the party came to an end that things got tense.

As guests filed out of Vicki's lavish Orange County home, Tamra pulled the insurance tycoon aside to thank her for having her over and discuss the status of their relationship. The conversation started out relatively lighthearted, but took a nasty turn when Vicki brought up their past issues. The 53-year-old warned Tamra to stop talking badly about her longtime boyfriend, Brooks. As you may recall, the pair had a falling out after Tamra continually expressed her distaste for Brooks among the other women and Vicki's daughter Briana Wolfsmith-Culberson. Similarly, Tamra requested that Vicki stop telling the other "RHOC" stars not to trust her. The pair agreed to forgive and forget, sealing their mutual "I'm sorry" with a cheers.

It's not clear at this point how long their truce will last, but we're choosing to remain hopeful. Check out Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge's dramatic sit down below and be sure to tune in to "The Real Housewives of Orange County" next Monday at 9 p.m. EDT.
