If age was a factor in “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof’s recent split from boyfriend Sean Stewart, she’s not showing it. The 51-year-old businesswoman-turned-reality-star has already moved on from the relationship with an even younger man.

Maloof is reportedly dating 30-year-old model/actor Andy Hnilo, according to Radar Online. A source who spoke to the publication said Maloof has tried to continue a friendship with Stewart, who is the son of British rocker Rod Stewart, since the pair broke things off, but that Stewart hasn’t handled it well.

“Adrienne enjoyed her time with Sean, but at the end of the day he was just too much,” an insider told Radar. “She basically said, ‘I already have kids, I don’t need another one.’ Sean has been taking it super hard and can’t let go of her. He even gave her like a $10,000 gift for her birthday last week, hoping it would fare in his favor with her.”

Although rumors swirled in March that Maloof and Stewart had gone their separate ways, Stewart has continued to show up regularly on Maloof’s arm at functions. Just one week after their alleged breakup they were spotted looking cozy at a boxing match at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. He also accompanied Maloof to Perez Hilton’s pajama-themed birthday party and has since been spotted grabbing dinner with Maloof.

But things reportedly got heated when Stewart ran into Maloof and Hnilo together Saturday night at an event for the Brent Shapiro Foundation. Maloof and Stewart posed together for photographs at the event, but Stewart later got into an altercation with Hnilo, who was also present. A source told the gossip site, “Sean was really pissed about Andy and confronted him while in line for the bathroom. He was basically ready to fight Andy and took his jacket off at one point and everything. It got ghetto!”

“Adrienne and other people stepped in to calm him down,” the source continued. “It was actually sort of sad and pathetic, because you could tell Sean was just completely busted up over seeing her with another man and was sort of emotional.”

Later on in the night, Maloof attended a birthday party for David Arquette at Bootsy Bellows, where she was again spotted with Hnilo, who describes himself in his Twitter bio as an “athlete,” “model,” “actor,” and “skincare guru.” And sources say Stewart’s friends are concerned that the recent breakup combined with Hnilo’s impressive resume could push him to return to past substance abuse habits with both drugs and alcohol.

“Sean is a schlub compared to Andy, and friends are actually worried that this heartbreak might put him back on a downward spiral,” a source told Radar. “He’s like a madman over Adrienne, and if he can’t have her, he might just lose his s--- and it could lead him back to drinking and stuff.”

Maloof for her part recently finalized her divorce with ex-hubby Paul Nassif. On Aug. 29, the pair released a joint statement saying they had “reached an agreement on all outstanding issues related to our divorce settlement and all pending litigation,” E! News reported.

"Our first priority is our children's well-being and happiness. As their parents and advocates that is our goal,” the two added in the statement. ”Our children are our most important treasures and need to be treated with the respect and privacy they deserve. We're happy to be moving forward with our lives in a positive way not only individually but as co-parents.”
