Less than one month after her highly publicized disorderly conduct arrest, actress Reese Witherspoon has returned to her signature blonde locks after sporting dark tresses for her recent movie role in “The Good Lie.”

Witherspoon was seen sporting her new look at her 9-year-old son Deacon’s soccer game on Saturday in Brentwood, Calif. The 37-year-old Oscar winner was spotted in a blue-and-white checkered and button-down top, white cuffed shorts and a straw fedora, appearing to attempt to not draw too much attention to her changed appearance.

A source told the Daily Mail Monday that the actress is pleased to be back to her natural color after her dark-haired look became synonymous with her April arrest alongside husband and talent agent, Jim Toth.

“She feels like it sums up the core of who she is and that her momentary transgression with the police can be forever linked to the dark-haired alter ego. She feels that that happened to another person now.”

Witherspoon was arrested on April 19 after attempting to defend Toth following a DUI arrest in Atlanta. The actress infamously asked officers, “Do you know my name?” following her arrest for disorderly conduct after authorities claimed Witherspoon refused to remain in her vehicle during her husband’s sobriety test.

The actress apologized for the incident, stating she was “deeply embarrassed” by her actions and drank too much prior to the incident.

“I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse," Witherspoon released in a statement to the AP. " I have nothing but respect for the police and I’m very sorry for my behavior," she said.
