Nemesis will once again reign terror all over Raccoon City as Sony's State of Play confirmed that Capcom is remaking “Resident Evil 3.”

The “completely reimagined” game that terrified players in 1999 will be available to the PlayStation 4, Windows PC via Steam and Xbox One on April 3, 2020, said Polygon.

Alongside the remake, Capcom is also set to include another “Resident Evil” title to the mix.“Resident Evil Resistance,” which was previously dubbed as “Project Resistance,” will be included in the “Resident Evil 3” remake as a special multiplayer mode.

The spin-off title will pit four survivors as they make their way through hordes of the undead. Players will need to work together, said VG 24/7, and can turn to zombies themselves and attack other surviving players.

The announcement came a week after a cover art with Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira and Nemesis were front and center.

The “Resident Evil 3” remake will, according to another VGN 24/7 article, run on Capcom's RE engine just like the remake of “Resident Evil 2” and “Devil May Cry 5.”
