“Resurrection” Season 2 won't premiere until Sept. 28, but ABC just released a spoiler-filled synopsis for the first episode. The episode will be called “Revelation,” and as previously reported, “Game of Thrones” actress Michelle Fairley will be one of the Returned.

Fairley’s character Margaret Langston will be Henry and Fred’s mother, and was the main focus of the latest promo for the show. The twist is that both Henry and Fred will both be older than than their mother was when she died three decades ago. This could shake Henry even more when his son Jacob returned from the dead.

Agent Bellamy will have to stop investigating the Returned momentarily to deal with his own disappearance. In the Season 1 finale, military personnel who wanted to keep all of the Returned in Arcadia surrounded Bellamy. He apparently escaped the situation, but even he isn’t sure how it happened. He’ll wake up alone in a field on the outskirts of Arcadia, but he won’t remember the last week of his life. He’ll slowly regain his memory and have a “shocking revelation.”

Plenty of fans have been wondering if Bellamy is one of the Returned. One family who returned from the 1950s were looking for a son with a specific birthmark on his neck. The end of last season revealed that Bellamy had that exact birthmark.

Whether he is one of the Returned or not, Bellamy will also have to get used to other feds in Arcadia. New photos reveal actors Donna Murphy and Michael Tourek, who appear to be portraying officers investigating the Returned.

“Resurrection” Season 2 will premiere on Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. Do you think Bellamy is one of the Returned? Sound off in the comments section below.
