In an effort to jumpstart his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, Rick Perry will visit New York on Friday.

Gov. Perry will speak with the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation, a nonprofit company that provides assistance for families of officers who were killed or injured, and ask for donations at a luncheon.
