American rapper Rick Ross's fans are worried about his condition after he suffered seizures twice last Friday.

The Deeper Than Rap singer had a seizure shortly after his flight for Memphis took off from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. An emergency landing was made and he was rushed to a hospital.

The 35-year-old rapper remained under medical supervision for a few hours after which he took a private flight to get to Memphis to perform at a concert.

But once on board the second time, he suffered yet another seizure and the pilot performed an emergency landing in Birmingham, Ala., where he was again rushed to a hospital. Reports state that Ross appeared critical, lost consciousness and an onboard doctor had to perform CPR, before his first flight made an emergency landing.

The bizarre turn of events made the rapper's fans wonder on online forums whether he was dead. He is not, but he missed the Memphis concert, and one scheduled for Atlanta Tuesday was canceled.

The latest health reports say Rick Ross has abandoned the idea of flying and will now travel by a luxury bus instead. According to TMZ, Ross's friend DJ Khaled offered his luxury tour bus for bringing Ross back to Atlanta from Memphis.

There have been no reports or confirmation regarding what caused Ross's illness, with most reports maintaining that neither drugs nor alcohol caused the seizures. Ross, born William Leonard Roberts II, has no known history of substance abuse, even though he derived his stage name from the notorious Los Angeles drug trafficker Freeway Ricky Ross.

Reports state that Ross will be back onstage soon, with many criticizing his label for pushing him beyond what he can possibly deliver in his current state of health.
