Like many celebrities, Rihanna is known to creep around social media, reading and responding to what is written about her. The “Work” singer’s latest trip through Instagram involved her liking a photo before reading the caption, but Rihanna made sure to revisit the picture.

A Rihanna fan page Instagram account posted a photo of the singer with a lengthy caption pitting Rihanna against Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” which she liked, but according to Rihanna, she liked it before reading the caption.

“I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over,” Rihanna wrote. Like many fans of both artists, the Barbadian singer is tired of being put up against Beyoncé.

“I wish y’all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture,” she wrote. “We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!”

In the original Instagram upload, the rihannagang_ account said the Grammys snubbed Rihanna for song of the year and album of the year. “I think they didn’t want her tied or passing someone else *cough cough* [lemon emoji],” the account wrote, hinting that Beyoncé was the reason.

While the internet loves to put the two music superstars against each other, neither of the singers have ever said anything bad about one and other. Earlier this year, after Beyoncé released her “Formation” video a week after Rihanna’s “Anti” album, many fans believed Bey was trying to steal Rihanna’s spotlight.

During a March interview with Vogue, Rihanna explained that it wasn’t as big of a deal as people made it out to be. “Here’s the deal, they just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative. Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that.”
