Rihanna’s latest single “Diamonds” has hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, which gives her a total of 12 chart topping records, an accolade she shares with fellow pop singer, Madonna.

In conjunction with Madonna and Motown singing group, the Supremes, Rihanna will hold the title for fourth most #1 albums in Billboard’s history.

Her list of #1’s include nine of her solo singles; “SOS,” “Umbrella,” “Take a Bow,” “Disturbia,” “Rude Boy,” “Only Girl (In the World),” “What’s My Name,” “S&M,” and “We Found Love,” as well as two feature songs; T.I’s “Live Your Life,” and Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie.”

Still ahead of the singer for the most Hot 100 chart toppers of all time are: the Beatles with 20 #1 hits, Mariah Carey with 18, and Michael Jackson with 13 solo #1 songs.

MTV suggests that since she is only 24 and seems to release a new album each year, Rihanna could realistic hold the top spot for most #1’s someday.

“Diamonds” was released Sept. 27 and had to battle with Maroon 5's"One More Night," which held the top spot on the chart for nine consecutive weeks.

Rihanna’s longest reign on top of the charts was with her 2011 hit “We Found Love,” which spent 10 weeks as Billboard’s hottest song in the U.S.
