The massive outfit Rihanna wore to the 2015 Met Gala on Monday, was not only one of the most talked about outfits at the event, it also took years to make. The dress was put together by designer Guo Pei from China, keeping in with the theme of the event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The dress, which reportedly weighed 55 pounds, took two years of effort, Rihanna told the Vogue during an interview.

"It's a miracle how it happened actually," Rihanna told Vogue’s editor-at-large André Leon Talley, according to E!, adding: "I saw this beautiful beast on the Internet. I was looking through, you know, researching Chinese couture. ... It's handmade by one Chinese woman. It took two years to make this."

The fur-trimmed canary yellow cape had floral swirls in gold, according to the Telegraph. There were also some memes circulated on the Internet on her mammoth dress.
