‘Riverdale’
Will Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) make it out of the House of the Devil in “Riverdale” Season 2, episode 8? The CW

“Riverdale” executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa just announced the title for Season 2, episode 8.

On his Twitter account, he shared a photo of the script with the title “Chapter Twenty-One: House of the Devil” on it. The installment was written by Yolanda Lawrence. The script also featured an eerie photo of a house from a far-off place. The exec did not share a lot of details about the episode, but he did hint that Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) will be visiting the house of the devil.

For now, it is unclear which devil Aguirre-Sacasa was referring to, but he may have already given a hint as to their identity. Last month, he teased the arrival of a new big bad named Sugarman. But in the photo he uploaded on social media, Sugarman seemed to be going after Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) and not Archie and Veronica.

Meanwhile, “Riverdale” cast member Madchen Amick also teased her character Alice Cooper’s reunion with Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) dad, FP Jones (Skeet Ulrich). In Season 1, Alice told her daughter, Betty (Lili Reinhart), that she gave birth to a son and gave him up for adoption even before Betty and Polly (Tiera Skovbye) were born.

There were speculations that FP was the father of Alice’s baby, and that’s why her husband, Hal (Lochlyn Munro), couldn’t accept him. While speaking with Seventeen, Reinhart acknowledged the possibility that Alice and FP may have had a relationship when they were younger.

However, the actress debunked the speculations that Betty and Polly’s brother is Joaquin (Rob Raco). “I feel like I want to shut that theory down. Maybe there was romance between Alice and FP, but Joaquin went on that bus to San Junipero and he’s just going, sadly for Kevin,” she said.

On her Twitter account, Amick shared a photo of herself with Ulrich and captioned it saying, “Be careful what you wish for.” The cryptic statement suggests that Alice and FP may have had some kind of romantic in the past. But fans need to wait a few more weeks before finding out the truth about the two characters.

“Riverdale” Season 2 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. EDT.
