Remember when Rob Kardashian was on “Dancing With the Stars”? Back in 2011, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star pranced his way into the finals with professional partner Cheryl Burke on Season 13 of the hit ABC show. Kardashian was at the height of his popularity at the time, but since then, he has seemingly been in a downward spiral and refuses to be seen in public due to a massive weight gain and supposed drug use.

Kardashian, 28, is ready to get healthy again and is thinking about joining “DWTS” to help jump-start his weight loss, a source told Radar Online Tuesday. “The happiest anyone ever saw this kid was when he was dancing every day,” the insider said.

He has been invited to the set and given some enticements. “Rob’s been given an open invitation to visit the show, and producers even dangled the prospect of serious hang time with Rumer Willis and Charlotte McKinney,” the source said. “Rob hasn’t ruled it out.”

But before he steps onto the ballroom floor for a second time, Kardashian still has some work to do. “Rob will only go on the show if he drops some weight first,” since, at 5 feet 10 inches, “he’s not a tall guy so when he puts on 10 pounds it looks like 20,” the source said.

Don’t get too excited though, “KUWTK” fans. Gossip Cop said the rumor is “not true” and an “entirely fabricated report.”

Kardashian hasn’t responded to the rumor himself, but most recently took to Twitter to mourn the death of friend and rapper Chinx Drugz, who was shot to death in Queens, New York, Sunday. Sister Khloe Kardashian also sent her condolences via Twitter and Instagram.
