Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs may be planning a trip down the aisle, but don’t expect the “Twilight” actor and “Two Weeks” singer to tie the knot anytime soon. Despite reports the couple has been prepping for their big day, one source is now revealing their nuptials may not be taking place as soon as some fans were expecting.

“Twigs is still enormously happy with Rob and they aren’t rushing to have the wedding,” an insider told Us Weekly. And despite rumors the couple’s romance is on the rocks, the source added that “things couldn’t be better” in their relationship.

With FKA Twigs, real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett, working on her music career, and Pattinson, 29, filming his new movie “The Lost City of Z,” the couple does spend time apart. However, they’ve reportedly found a way to make their long-distance relationship work through constant communication. “They text and talk nonstop when she’s on the road and they are away for work,” an insider told the magazine. “They are always talking when they can’t be together.”

Rumors of trouble in paradise for the couple started swirling in August when People reported that the pair couldn’t decide on a theme for their wedding. Sources said Twigs would talk about having a “low-key” affair one day, and then opt for an “elaborate, glamour Baroque affair” the next. “She was even taking at one stage about having a masked ball,” said a source of their wedding plans.

Despite the couple initially planning for an intimate pub-style wedding, their big day, which was previously rumored to be taking place next fall “at the earliest,” will now be larger than life, according to reports. “It will not be bigger, but how big, nobody’s quite sure at this moment in time,” said an insider.

Pattinson was first linked to Twigs in August 2014, ja little more than one year after ending his long-term romance with his “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart. The actors dated for three years before calling their relationship quits in the spring of 2014 following Stewart’s affair with her then-married “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders.

Pattinson and Twigs’ engagement was revealed in March. The couple has yet to speak out about their upcoming nuptials, though they did appear on the red carpet together at the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in New York City on May 4.
