Robert Pattinson Sells Home, LA Mansion Holds 'Too Many Memories'

The actor said the Los Feliz mansion is the site of "too many memories."

Pattinson selling his home follows last week's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" During an interview with Kimmel Pattinson joked that he was homeless and living in a trash can following the much-publicized split from Stewart, who was caught cheating with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

Pattinson bought the home in September of 2011 from Noah Wylie, an actor that starred in "ER." Us Weekly reports that the home is "on an acre and a half of land and has a 150-person screening room and amazing gardens."

Pattinson has shared the home with Stewart since he moved in, although the actress reportedly has not moved out yet. Since offering a public apology for cheating on Pattinson Stewart has stayed out of the public eye, probably to avoid the intense scrutiny she has been under. Although the re are rumors that the former lovers have started talking again, Stewart is apparently "close to a total meltdown," barely sleeping.

While Pattinson hid from the media at Reese Witherspooon's ranch, Stewart has stayed with friend Scout Taylor-Compton in Burbank, CA. and at her parent's home in Los Angeles.

After lying low in the weeks following the initial shock of the affair Pattinson has re-emerged to promote his science-fiction role in "Cosmopolis." The Daily Mail reports that Pattinson told a source he has some pity for Stewart.

"She begged to meet face to face so they could talk...In fact, he admitted that it must be worse for her because she's not just dealing with heartbreak, but being portrayed as a villain, while he gets all the sympathy," a source told the Daily Mail.

Before the affair with Sanders was revealed - and photographed by the paparazzi - Pattinson and Stewart dated for three years. Pattinson selling the home the couple shared looks to be a definite end, however.
