Robert Pattinson’s Reunion With Kristen Stewart Reportedly Being Hindered By Katy Perry

Katy Perry seems to be calling the shots when it comes to Robert Pattinson’s love life.

According to a print report from the July 21 issue of Life & Style, Pattinson, 28, plans to officially reunite with his former on-screen turned off-screen love Kristen Stewart, much to the dismay of his pop-singing pal. According to the tabloid, Perry, 29, is “the main thing standing in the way” of the former “Twilight” stars' romance.

“Katy has told Rob that she thinks it’s a really bad idea for him to reunite with Kristen,” an insider told the magazine. Despite reportedly being friends with the 24-year-old actress, the report goes on to claim that Perry seized upon Stewart’s decision to step out on Pattinson in 2012 with married “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders as her reason for the duo not to reconcile.

“Katy warned him that Kristen will end up hurting him again,” said an insider.

Others close to the British film star are also rumored to be against him rekindling their three-year romance. “All of Rob’s pals are worried that he will make the same mistake again,” said a source.

Fortunately for Robsten fans, insiders claim Perry’s “finger-wagging” was all in vain. “Rob is completely blind when it comes to Kristen,” added an insider. “He finds it very hard to say no to her!”

Life & Style’s report comes just one week after reports surfaced that Pattinson and Stewart were secretly dating, the actor reportedly spending the night at her Los Angeles abode following the June 12 premiere of “The Rover.”

“Pattinson spent the night with his ex Kristen Stewart,” an “insider” told InTouch Weekly. “[They] definitely hooked up.”

Contrary to Life & Style’s report, In Touch reported that Pattinson, although smitten with Stewart, was not interested in monogamy. “He’s having fun and doesn’t want a committed relationship right now,” said a source.

Page Six is reporting that Pattinson was last seen “on the prowl for a girlfriend” at a Fourth of July celebration in Malibu over the weekend. Meanwhile, Stewart was spotted showing off a new, shorter hairdo (sans Pattinson) attending the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris on Tuesday.
