RuPaul is campaigning in New Hampshire to remind voters that he is not Ron Paul. RuPaul, who first became widely known in the 1990s when he appeared in a wide variety of television programs, films, and musical albums, does have a show to promote. Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race premieres on Jan. 30 on Logo.

“I want you to know that I am not Ron Paul,” RuPaul, the drag queen, told a crowd when he visited the Republican campaign staple the Red Arrow in Manchester.

“I am RuPaul and I am not running for president,” he added.

He has a message for all the GOP candidates. “I have a message for Ron Paul and all the other Republican candidates: if you don’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love anybody else? Can I get an amen in here? You better vote!” he said.

RuPaul said in a statement that he's not a political person but, Any time a man leaves the house in a wig and a pair of cha cha heels, he's making a political statement. Let us not forget that this great nation was founded by a bunch of men wearing wigs.
