Despite previous rumors that Ross was working on forgiving her unfaithful husband, the United Kingdom's tabloid, The People, is reporting that Ross has hired a Los Angeles "celebrity" divorce lawyer.
According to The People, Ross wants a quick divorce from the director so that she could move their two children, Skyla, 7 and Tennyson, 5, back to the UK. Ross, an actress and British Vogue model, reportedly only moved to the US to support her husband's career.
"She has no strong tied in the US nor does she want to remain here," a source told The People. "She made it clear that she wants to move back to the UK with her children."
The talk of divorce for Ross and Sanders comes after Us Weekly published photos of the director in an intimate embrace with "Twilight" actor Kristen Stewart. Sanders, 41, met Stewart while he was directing the 2012 film "Snow White and the Huntsman." The married director and the actress, who had been dating Robert Pattinson since 2009, began an affair which ultimately ended when their infidelity was made known to the public.
While Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have moved out of the Los Angeles home they shared, Rupert Sanders has been photographed still wearing his wedding ring around town.
The People even reports that he wore his ring when he met with Ross at an L.A. office that houses lawyers.
"My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together," he said in his public apology following the release of the photos. An apology doesn't look like it will be enough though.
Initially reported that Ross was working on forgiveness and banned her husband from working with Kristen Stewart or the sequel to "Snow White and the Huntsman," a source is now reporting that "She just wants a clean break."
Liberty Ross reportedly started divorce proceedings within a week of the affair being exposed.
