Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson parted ways with love and kindness, but it seems these were very same thing that Ryan was missing in their marriage.

According to reports in the US Weekly Ryan was open about his marital troubles on the sets of The Green Lantern. [He was] open on set that he and Scarlett were having problems, a source told the publication.

[He] would say that she treated him badly. It never seemed like she made him a priority.

It seems Reynolds is devastated by the split but Johansson is ready to move on and is disaffected and disconnected.

Rumours of the marriage break-up were doing the rounds since September. Reasons cited were distance and too much concentration on their respective careers.

A recent report stated that the two enjoyed a happy dinner outing in New York after they announced their plans for a divorce. It seems strange that just after that sources come out with such insider information about the two.

Scarlett and Ryan have always kept their private life away from the glare of the media, hopefully they will be allowed to separate in peace too.
