Could 2012 Olympic swimming rivals Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps compete against each other next on "Dancing With The Stars?" There's no official word yet, but both Olympians have expressed interest in the show, according to recent reports.

It's pretty safe to assume that Ryan Lochte will be appearing on some kind of reality show some time in the near future. He's been offered at least two different roles on reality shows already, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and it added that a third reality show might be in the works.

Which reality shows he was offered has not been made public, but his sports agent Erika Wright told the Reporter in an email, "I cannot tell you the exact shows, but two different reality show concepts have been offered and one additional is being discussed." She added that talk shows would like to have Lochte as a guest when he returns to the United States.

DWTS rumors began swirling when Lochte told British reporters that he would like to appear on the show and suggested that he and Phelps could compete against each other in another competition.

"He has this Kanye West-like persona in terms of attention," said Jesse Rybackof consultancy Premier Partnerships. "That makes him even more memorable."

Don't count out the best Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps, just because Lochte has been more up front about appearing on American reality television.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton quoted Phelps saying, "I haven't really been known for my dancing. I know everyone who's done it - I've talked to [speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno] and [swimmer Natalie Coughlin] about it, and they said they've enjoyed it and had a blast. I won't say I'm ruling anything out, who knows?"

If Lochte and Phelps teamed up to compete on Dancing With The Stars the other competitors wouldn't even stand a chance.

The all-star season with Pamela Anderson, Bristol Palin, Apolo Ohno and Shawn Johnson is set to premiere Sept. 24 at 8 p.m.

Do you think "Dancing with the Stars" with sign up both athletes to appear on the next season of the show?
