A day after Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh got injured in an attack on his compound in Sanaa, local media reports state that he has left the country.

Government sources have been quoted saying by the local media that he had been flown to Saudi Arabia for treatment, but it is unclear if he has left the country for good.

Four other officials along with the President have also flown out,said reports.

The President has not appeared in public since Friday, but he broadcast an audio message saying that his medical condition is good.

The extent of the injuries borne by the President is still not clear.
