Sprint Galaxy Nexus Release Date: LTE Device Could Launch ThisMonth, Leaked Document Reveals
Sprint subscribers may be seeing a new handset from the carrier sooner than expected. A release date has not been officially announced for the Galaxy Nexus LTE, but a leaked document says that the device will debut on April 22nd, according to The Verge. Reuters

The latest rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Nexus release date on Sprint, suggests that the phone will be launched on April 15.

Sprint has not confirmed this release date, but with reports that the phone's FCC approval is complete, the phone is expected to be released in the next month.

The Galaxy Nexus came out on Verizon's network last year, but Sprint has been lagging behind putting customers in a difficult position to choose between the Nexus new highly anticipated Galaxy S3.

There is no way of really knowing when the Samsung S3 will be released, but rumors are ranging from March to July. The phones predecessor was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) last year, and then launched in April, which spurred rumors that the S3 would be out at the same time. But Samsung has said that Galaxy enthusiasts shouldn't hold their breath for a March release, as the phone is likely to come in the middle of the year, closer to the summer, according to a report obtained by News Sizzle.

The success of the Galaxy S2 is thought to the biggest reason behind the S3 delay. The S2 only just released its Android Ice Cream Sandwich update, which is thought to prolong the launch of the next generation phone even further.

The most recent release date rumor is that the Galaxy S3 will be released on March. 30 in the U.K. An advertisement in the shop window of U.K retailer, Phones4U reads Samsung: 30.03.12, according to Gizmodo, but there was nothing else to suggest that the advert was referencing the Galaxy S3.

Even if the Galaxy S3 does launch before Sprint's Galaxy Nexus Launch, it is unlikely that Sprint will release the phone in time. If last year's pattern is anything to follow, Verizon will be the first to launch the Galaxy S3.

The S3 is expected to boast an Exynos 4412 chipset with a quad-core unit, which will apparently be clocked at 1.5GHz.

Early predictions say the S3 will come with a larger screen than that of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, nearer to the 5-inch scale. It is rumored to have an AMOLED plus screen with 1280x720 resolution. If the phone comes with a S5K2P1 chip, it will be able to capture 60fps HD video and 8.3 megapixel images.
