With the Samsung Galaxy S6 set for release on Friday, it’s the perfect time to buy a new smartphone. But who said that smartphone has to be the Galaxy S6?

The 2015 flagship is selling for $199 with a two-year contract with most carriers and for at least $650 with no contract, which is quite pricey. However, Samsung’s year-old Galaxy S5 is starting to see price drops at several carriers and retailers.

In the coming months, the price of the Galaxy S5 will likely drop even more, but customers can currently get some great deals on the device.

AT&T

AT&T is offering the Galaxy S5 for free with a two-year contract and for $569.99 off-contract. Additionally, AT&T’s Next program allows customers to pay off the cost of their phone in monthly installments over 24, 18 or 12 months. The AT&T Galaxy S5 is available in black, white and gold color options.

Verizon

Verizon is offering the Galaxy S5 for $99.99 with a two-year contract and for $499.99 off-contract. Additionally, Verizon’s Edge program allows customers to pay off the cost of their phone in monthly installments over 24 months. The Verizon Galaxy S5 is available in black and white.

U.S. Cellular

U.S. Cellular is offering the Galaxy S5 for $99.99 with a two-year contract and for $499.99 off-contract. Additionally, U.S. Cellular’s installment pricing program allows customers to pay off the cost of their phone in monthly installments over 24-months. The U.S. Cellular Galaxy S5 is available in black, white and gold.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering the Galaxy S5 for $0 down and $22.08 per month for 24 months or for $529.92 in full. The T-Mobile Galaxy S5 is available in black and white.

Sprint

Sprint has not yet discounted the price of its Galaxy S5 and is still offering the device for $199.99 with a two-year contract. However, its off-contract price is discounted by about $100 to $552. Additionally, Sprint’s Easy Pay plan allows customers to pay off the cost of their phone in monthly installments over 24 months. The Sprint Galaxy S5 is available in black, white and gold.

Amazon

Amazon is offering the Galaxy S5 for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint for 1 cent with a two-year contract. The Galaxy S5 is available in black and white for all carriers.

Best Buy

Best Buy is offering the Galaxy S5 for $79.99 with a two-year contract on AT&T and Verizon and for $99.99 with a two-year contract on Sprint. The Galaxy S5 is available in black, white and blue for all carriers.

C Spire Wireless

C Spire is offering the Galaxy S5 in black and white for $99.99 with a two-year contract.

Cricket/Aio Wireless

Cricket is offering the Galaxy S5 in black for $589.99

Target

Target is offering the AT&T and Verizon Galaxy S5 for $99.99 with a two-year contract. The Galaxy S5 is available in black and white for all carriers. The devices are available only in stores; pricing information for the Sprint Galaxy S5 also is available in stores.

The unlocked Galaxy S5 with 3G cellular service is $449.99 and is available in black, white, blue and gold. The unlocked Galaxy S5 with LTE cellular service is $599.99 and is available in black, white and gold.

Costco

Costco is offering the Galaxy S5 for $99.99 with a two-year contract on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. The Galaxy S5 is available in black and white, gold, red and blue.
