The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Edition smartphone has been officially announced by Samsung. The South Korean tech giant has collaborated with Marvel to release the "Iron Man"-themed version of the Galaxy S6 Edge.

GSM Arena says the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition will be rolled out in celebration of the newly released Marvel movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron." It claims the handset was teased recently and has been finally released in select markets.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition comes in red with a golden metal frame along with the "Iron Man" theme running on the device, reports Samsung Tomorrow. It has an internal storage capacity of 64 GB. The retail package also contains matching wireless charger and a clear protective cover that accentuates the design of the device.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition will arrive in South Korea on Wednesday. China and Hong Kong are pegged to get it in June. Full details of the handset are available on Samsung Mobile Press and Samsung.com.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was released alongside the Galaxy S6 in the U.S. last month. The S6 Edge comes with a dual-edge curved display screen of 5.1 inches that supports Quad HD resolution. It offers a pixel density of 577 ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The Galaxy S6 Edge is powered by an Exynos 7420 chipset that is supported by 3 GB of RAM. The device is not equipped with an external storage. However, it is available in built-in storage variants such as 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

There is a 16 MP camera on the rear of the device along with LED flash. It is enabled with Optical Image Stabilization. On the front side, there is a 5 MP selfie camera. It is equipped with a nonremovable battery of 2,600 mAh capacity.
