Rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy S8 may include a 5.8-inch display for its smaller models and a 6.2-inch display for its Plus model. Both devices are expected to have dual-edge displays and virtual key instead of capacitive buttons on their front. The Quad HD display is expected to have an 18:9:5 aspect ratio, meaning the smartphones will have very thin bezels.

For hardware, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 processing chips are expected, in addition to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera and a 3,000mAh battery for the Galaxy S8 and 3,500mAh battery for the Galaxy S8 Plus.

Both devices are expected to feature fingerprint and iris scanners and a new AI assistant feature called Bixby, as well as Android Nougat.

Samsung may introduce a new color option called Orchid Gray.
