Minor league baseball players with the San Francisco Giants organization were involved in an accident when their van collided with a Kia vehicle in Arizona on Tuesday morning. Four people were injured, but the driver of the Kia was not.

It was unclear whether any of the injured were players. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the casualties were “people affiliated with the club.”

The 12 Giants prospects in the van were in Scottsdale, Ariz., for training camp, Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark told the Arizona Republic.

The injured people were brought to a Scottsdale Hospital, and one was admitted to the trauma center and is expected to survive his injuries, according to the Chronicle.

The crash closed a local road for more than an hour, according to Scottsdale police.

The Giants hold their year-round training activities in Scottsdale and play Spring Training games at Scottsdale Stadium.
