Possible presidential candidate Sarah Palin determined in a meeting yesterday that she will continue to work as a contributor for Fox News, an indicator that she has yet to make up her mind about whether to run.

Earlier this year the network sought to head off any accusations of conflict of interest by suspending former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, both commentators, until they clarified their presidential ambitions. Both of them have since declared their candidacies but Palin continues to appear on Fox amidst rampant speculation about her intentions.

After a meeting with Palin yesterday executive vice president of programming Bill Shine issued a statement maintaining that, Right now there is no change in her status with FOX News. That would seem to indicate that Palin has not fully committed to a run, though her bus tour of East Coast monuments has generated obsessive media coverage.
