Tavi Gevinson is headed to Wallace University! That’s right, the Rookie Mag founder will make her “Scream Queens” debut on Tuesday's Season 1 episode -- and while we’re excited to see the pixie-haired darling stir up drama on the Fox dramedy, not everyone will be too thrilled to see her character, Feather McCarthy, strut her stuff around campus... specifically Jamie Lee Curtis’ character Dean Munsch.
In a promo video for episode 7, titled “Beware of Young Girls,” it is revealed that Feather, who also happens to be a sorority sister, stole Dean Munsch’s husband, Steven (Philip Casnoff), from right under her nose. (No wonder Munsch has such a profound disdain toward Kappa Kappa Tau.)
“Feather is a student and a sister and she has an affair with Dr. Munsch who is Dean Munsch’s husband,” Gevinson explains in the sneak-peek clip. “She’s just kind of innocent and doesn’t get that there’s anything wrong with what she is doing. But I think she has a bit of an edge, as well.”
Could that mean that the seemingly sweet Feather has a dark side… a murderous dark side? Grace (Skyler Samuels) asks that very same question after Munsch implies that her ex-husband’s mistress might have played a bloody hand in all the gruesome deaths.
“Well, I can’t be sure but what I do know is that Feather McCarthy is Feather McNutty,” Munsch says.
But instead of Feather getting dragged away from the KKT house in a straitjacket, it’s Dean Munsch who gets hauled into the back an ambulance after being restrained. Is it possible Feather may have played a role in Munsch’s arrest? Well, during the promo video, Feather does state that she thinks her lover’s ex-wife is the one behind all the stomach-turning things happening on campus.
“She did it. Whatever it is, she was involved somehow,” Feather says to Pete (Diego Boneta) after he inquires about Dean Munsch. “That woman is friggen nuts.”
Fans will see Dean Munsch and Feather McCarthy go head-to-head in Season 1, episode 7 of “Scream Queens,” which return from it’s hiatus on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
