Kirstie Alley met Jamie Lee Curtis long before she landed the role of Ingrid Marie Hoffel in Season 2 of “Scream Queens.”

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Alley revealed that she first met Curtis on a television game show. “When I first moved to Los Angeles, and I wasn’t an actress, and I needed money desperately, I went on the ‘Match Game’ and Jaime Lee was on the panel of stars,” the 65-year-old actress shared.

Alley said that she didn’t really have the chance to interact that much with Curtis during that time because people around them might suspect that they were working together on some sort of trick for her to win.

“You weren’t really allowed to talk to each other because you had to make sure that there wasn’t a tricky stuff going on, you know?” the “Cheers” alum explained. “But I do remember, I was walking down the hall and she said, ‘Hi!’ and I was like, ‘Aghhhh!’ and I still have that that same feeling now!”

In fact, Alley admitted that she’s both thrilled and “inhibited” to be sharing scenes with her 57-year-old co-star, who plays Cathy Munsch on the comedy-horror series.

Alley’s inhibition was probably at its peak during her first shooting day, as she admitted on social media that she had some serious jitters on her first day on set.

“Ok I’m always gonna report the truth..sooooo I had horrible nervous jitters the first day on ‘Scream Queens’ ..felt like an idiot UGH,” the Kansas native wrote on Twitter on Sept. 15.

In a follow-up post, the Golden Globe-winning actress compared her first day of shooting to the first-day jitters students usually experience.

“I know that first day of kindergarten when ur mom leaves and you wet ur pants at nap time? ..I do ..I relived it today without the pee part,” she wrote.

Despite all the jitters, Alley was grateful to the show’s cast and crew for giving her a warm welcome. “I would just like to add that the cast and crew of @ScreamQueens couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming! THANK YOU,” she tweeted.
